Looks as if it's been forever since I posted anything on the blog so here is a short note and a couple pictures. We went to South Carolina to visit folks and enjoy a little southern hospitality. It was a good visit even if the ride was long. Here are a couple pictures of a spot we stopped at. The town of Lexington North Carolina has statues of pigs around town. It's a bit whimsical, sort of like Norfolk's mermaid sculptures except all the pigs are different. This little cafe had a candy striped pig, and any place that is proud of their fresh rubber bands is OK by me.
